Mount Olivet is the city’s historic Catholic burial grounds. Some of the bodies in the lushly landscaped space migrated from Cheesman Park.
Others find themselves separated from the rest of the graveyard by a railroad track.
Inhabitants include both great philanthropists and scoundrels. Included are Harvey and Baby Doe Tabor, Bozo the Clown, and James McParland, a key rat in the Pinkerton Detective Agency. The walk will feature a mix of history, colorful tales, and illustrations of funereal art.
